Maybe I had a bad experience, but I went to a Discord chat room, and it was complete babble, until one guy managed to quell the babble long enough to have his say. If that's how it is, I'd just use a siren to shut everyone up. If that was what it took, it isn't a place for me.
I've used it for gaming. I was part of a PVP Ark clan and it was great when there were four or five of us on. We would go out and tame dinos rapidly while calling out orders. My favorite was taming the crabs; you had to use a cannon and hit them right in the middle of their face to stun them.

Yeah, if you need some polymer, but really you want to ride them so you can go to the blue zone and harvest massive amounts of iron.

I can't figure out what to watch (listen to) while sewing. I have burned through concerts and music documentaries that interest me, re-watched all nine seasons of Call the Midwife, and burned through the new season of Wentworth. Under consideration are the LOTR movies, the Harry Potter movies, and Game of Thrones. But those just aren't really speaking to me right now. Spending time scrolling through what's on Amazon Prime and Netflix makes me crazy.

If you have Netflix ... or *coughotherssourcescough*, check out The Social Dilemma.
I have seriously considered deleting my Facebook and Twitter accounts before and also just closing my YouTube account, and instead just use the Internet at neutral sites, like AF, where there aren't any "recommendations" but instead just facts and neutral news sources like Reuter and AP.
If the 'social' media companies continue down this path of clickbait, I'm confident in saying that I will delete/close them, since I did deactivate my FB account for about 1½ years before, up until some 2-3 years ago because of all the bullshit.
