When the US government subsidizes oil production you get two things -
National Security. Not having to depend on someone else for our fuel.
Cheaper fuel. In relation to real wages - the price of all hydrocarbon fuels have dropped in the last 50 years.
With windmills - you get one thing - very expensive electricity.

Wrong. With fossil fuels you get pollution, climate change and dependency on dwindling supply. With renewable resources, you get cheaper power over the long term. Wind is easy to pick on because it's ugly and unwieldy but anything we can do to preserve the environment and conserve resources has economical benefit.

No, when they invest in fossil fuels they get.
An insecure, corrupt, dying industry being propped up by tax dollars to diminishing returns along with the destruction of the only planet we have.
Wind TURBINES is profitable, Reliable, And cheaper than fossil fuels with or without government help and will be more secure than something that going to destroy civilization.
The lies of the fossil fuel industry and their lobby groups won't fly here

Whelp - I have skid marks in my skivvies older than you...
There's a reason they make electricity with fossil fuels -
It makes money.
Unlike windmills - which need taxpayer money to appear profitable.
Stop acting and thinking like a dumb kid then.
The United States provides a number of tax subsidies to the fossil fuel industry as a means of encouraging domestic energy production. These include both direct subsidies to corporations, as well as other tax benefits to the fossil fuel industry. Conservative estimates put U.S. direct subsidies to the fossil fuel industry at roughly $20 billion per year; with 20 percent currently allocated to coal and 80 percent to natural gas and crude oil.

1. Love how he keeps calling it a windmill (tell me what it's milling ) It's a wind turbine
2. No one thinks it generates free power forever (neither do power plants)
3.Special blades exist for all the conditions he lists and modifications can be made to the turbine to adapt it thus reducing costs and damage
4. Talks about how long it lasts forgets to mention the near-constant maintenance the current energy system requires and its cost
5. Note he doesn't source any of his claims
I don't like the looks of wind farms. It somehow make those parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas even uglier. It looks difficult to manufacture, transport, and install. And what happens to all that at the end of life for the technology? As an engineer, I thought it was a bad idea. But, here we are. It's working despite what I think. Learning to accept you were wrong about something is an important lesson for children and adults. Scientist and engineers are used to it.
He's also ignoring the huge environmental costs of fossil fuels, their impending expiration and the reasons we are scrambling to replace them. Remember this is the guy who thinks a Neo-Malthusian population control will solve our current woes. Despite that theory being thoroughly debunked. So take anything he says with a salt mine

He will because it will be cheap and you get the added bonus of having a planet that's still inhabitable.

Nope just correcting your bullshit. Funny how nobody on this site knows what stalking is
You may return to pretending to ignore me. Then responding to me. Then pretending to ignore me again. I find it incredibly amusing

The funny thing is he thinks I think he reads my comments. I know he doesn't. Because he can't actually engage me so he cowers behind the ignore button. Then he makes a big show of ignoring me then turns around responds only to then repeat the big show of not responding to me again. It's hilarious really
