RE: I have some questions for the posters here.

Humans are egotistical, narcissistic, arrogant, ignorant, fearful little creatures.

"There are no gods" is a negative of such universal scope...it simply cannot be proven...which means that NO HUMAN CAN POSSIBLY KNOW IT IS TRUE. So, my statement "There is absolutely no way anyone can KNOW that no gods exist" is true in and of itself.

Ignoring that you've gone back and forth on this like you've got Alzheimer's, you haven't provided any reason to believe that this is true. Your assertion, while incredulous, isn't a valid argument.

An agnostic presumably would be smart enough not to embrace absolutes casually. So what is your argument? Incredulity, as stated above, is not an argument.

Okay...I see where you are on this.

I suspect I DO have enough unambiguous evidence to guess that none of the gods that have ever been "worshiped" by humans so far...is real. Most certainly seem like bullshit  fairytales characters...and are in many ways carbon copies of each other.

But, because humans are so gullible...does not mean there are no gods.

I have NEVER told you anything about what I "believe" because I do not do "believing." You will never find anyplace a comment from me saying, "I 'believe'...anything."

So stop the bullshit.

When you say you think something, it's semantically the same as saying you believe it. There's no magic to the word 'believe' that gets you out of believing things as long as you don't use that specific word. When I say I think something is the case, it's just another way of saying I believe it's the case. Humans cannot avoid having beliefs.

I will reiterate: there are plenty of imaginative concepts at our disposal for which we never attribute the I don't know variable toward their existence. We confidently understand those things do not exist despite the lack of evidence related to their non-existence, which in itself is such an illogical trope that only the simple minded ever feel the need to apply it as an argument.

What in the name of horseshit would make you think that I want you to "believe" that it is true?

I'm in a fucking war with "believing" Angrboda. For you to word your comment the way you did is beyond comprehension.

NOW...the assertion "There are no gods" is an assertion of such universal magnitude that there is no way to prove it. NO WAY AT ALL.

So...no human can possible know it is true.

That is so...inherently.

Get it...do not get it. Makes no difference to me.

If you want to ask me about what I think or opine or guess or speculate...do so.

Do not tell me I have to do "believing"...because I do not.

Yeah...the words all are English...but what the hell is it supposed to mean.

I don't know if any gods exist or not.

Are you suggesting because you wrote that...whatever...I am supposed to say, "Oh, I do know?"

Mister Agenda is using the precise meaning of "to believe." ie "to think something is true."

Colloquially, however, "to believe" can often mean "to think something is true without evidence."

In the sense that Mister meant it, humans really can't avoid having beliefs.
