But he was never afraid to tell it like it was. And I loved his sarcasm every time he called a new case and handed the file to Judge Stone. A truly lovable character. He was a great actor. An aside, according to this Wiki article there is a TBA about a reboot to the sitcom, it seems that the actress whom played Bernie on the Big Bang Theory may star in the new version as "Judge Abby Stone". I am guessing she would have been the wife of Harry in the old series. Even if Harry never got married on the show, it could be written in to the new reboot that he got married after the original show ended. If you take notice of the original Cheers series, for example. There is an episode where Frasier talks about his father being a psychiatrist, but in the spin off his father is a retired police officer. It is hard to repeat success. I do wish her well. She was great as Howard's wife. And to this day, I will always be a huge fan of the original Night court. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melissa_Rauch (July 16, 2021 at 11:29 am)Brian37 Wrote:(July 13, 2021 at 5:33 am)The Valkyrie Wrote: Charlie Robinson, Mac from Night Court. Ok, thanks for the correction. That makes more sense because the wiki article says the actress who played Berrnie in reality was born in 1980. I am being serious. And another aside. My best friend from Oklahoma HBA OR "Hillbilly Atheist" always likes to remind me that before he was "Data" on Star Trek he did bit parts on Night Court as a "redneck".

"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
William F. Nolan - a writer mostly known for writing the SF novel "Logan's Run".
I tried watching the movie once but was bored and stopped.
