Asymptomatic spread does happen, but it is rare. If it were not rare, non-sterilizing vaccines would not work to slow down the spread of diseases.

I think the doctors disagree with you.  Did you read the report I posted?  In fact, before the vaccine rollout I read opinions from doctors that it was possible for vaccinated people to spread the virus.  They didn't know for sure and needed more data.  That's why they recommended everyone get vaccinated who could.

And, just like vaccinated adults, children are unlikely to spread the virus because they mostly do not have symptoms. Vaccines lower the spread by relieving the symptoms, thus making people emit fewer droplets.

Every single part of that is wrong. Maybe you should go back to what you do best - creating programming that doesn’t work.

As far as I can see, you do not understand how non-sterilizing vaccines, such as polio vaccines or COVID vaccines, prevent spread of diseases.

School started here today...bet things get really ugly in a week or so since we (here in TX) are already facing shortages of beds for COVID patients.

I think the CDC wold beg to differ about that.  Especially the bit about how asymptomiatic spread is rare. And the bit about vaccines working by relieving symptoms is strange, since I always thought that vaccines worked by stimulating the body to build up antibodies to a disease without actually making people sick, which is why vaccines tend to be given to those who haven't yet had the disease in question. You seem to be confusing vaccination with medication. Either that or your understanding of how vaccination works is missing some crucial steps, like how exactly it produces its effect of reducing symptoms.

Look, not a single child-to-parent transmission of COVID-19 has been confirmed. Not a single one, that is how rare it is. It is not unreasonable to assume it has happened a few times, but closing schools because of that assumption is unreasonable.

You know, I find it funny that the same people who are thinking asymptomiatic spread of COVID-19 is not to be neglected... are usually the same people who are advocating for forced vaccination to lower the spread of COVID-19 to protect those who cannot be vaccinated (people with auto-immune disorders) or for whom vaccination will not work (immunocompromised people). All vaccines we have against COVID-19, and probably all vaccines against coronaviruses we will ever have, do not provide sterilizing immunity, they just alleviate the symptoms. At the same time, you are denying the obvious fact that alleviating the symptoms leads to reduced spread. Makes no sense whatsoever.

No, I am not. Some vaccines, such as vaccines against measles or tetanus, provide you with sterilizing immunity. That means you cannot catch the disease. But such are rare. Most vaccines, including COVID-19 vaccines, do not stop you from catching the disease, they are there so that when you inevitably get infected, you have little or no symptoms. And, since you have little or no symptoms, you are unlikely to spread the disease. If COVID-19 patients were given antihistamines to suppress their immune system, it would also lower the spread, but it would increase the mortality. Antihistamines, though, may be useful for the bird flu pandemic that will likely soon come, since bird flu kills people by turning their immune system against them and people with weaker immune systems have a higher chance of surviving bird flu.
