Among other things, China signed the Paris agreement and has pledged to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. But that is not enough as is with the rest of the countries in the world. Ultimately, more must be done by everyone.

China is consistently criticized for contributing to climate change though its contribution is more complicated than other countries. But they are at least trying to change and acknowledge the problem.

My problem with the global warming scam is we have no idea where we are in the warming cycle, or if we are in a warming cycle.   All the doom and gloom predictions are just that.  Predictions.   There is NO way of knowing how things will turn.    And yet we are told we MUST spend hundreds of billions of dollars,  and eliminate fossil fuels which is the engine of capitalism.  The GW 'scientists' have been laughably wrong the past 15 years, yet we are supposed to trust these same people's predictions for the next 50, 100 years?  How stupid are we?

Your comments are not based on data.  No, scientists have been warning about this for a century now and the data supports the science.

If the goal was to end capitalism, then why promote different sources of energy?  Sources that aren't even new; we've been working with them since the middle of the 20th century.

And there are tons of other good reasons to curtail our use of oil and coal.  This is nothing new, btw.  Societies have made major shifts in fuel sources before with generally positive results.  And in those situations it was typically because the conditions forced them to do something.  Everyone in London once burned coal in their hearth and the entire city was a cloud of smog.  I'm sure that when someone said we need to stop burning all this coal there was someone else screaming "Socialist"!!!
