Marxism, what you got?

Some companies exist where the employees have a significant voice in how the company is run. They are sometimes called employee owned but I'm not sure how accurate that description is. Suffice to day it's better than the typical top-down corporate approach. I doubt this format works in anything but very small companies.
Why is it so?

What part of american society seems comparable to an employee owned company to you?

And you're watching the movie, and a bunch of other people are watching the movie as well, and you're all experiencing your own emotions, that the movie is bringing out of you. You all own that experience, as individuals, as well as a group, and you're all together, separate but equal, and nobody is telling you, or anyone else in the theater, how you should feel about the movie. It's an organic experience. An individualistic experience, as well as a shared experience.

I feel like we could spend forever talking about society and experience and people doing things together in general, all of the things about society - but I'm only wondering about that one thing about society. The way in which our society is essentially an employee owned company. Could we skip to that part?

All sorts of things about society make sense to me - that we do stuff together and society is shaped by experience...but the idea that it's essentially an employee owned company..not so much. Is there any explanation for that......?
