And you thought you hated ABBA.
In all seriousness, music is generational. I don't like Nirvana either, but I am older than the generation that would be into them.
I am weird I guess. I can get into 70s/80s/90s/2k music depending on song/band. But I would agree Nirvana is not one of my favorites.
How delightfully self-refuting of you.

Re Nevermind suit, in old interviews (Time, Guardian, MTV) Mr. Elden stated that the cover had a positive effect for him and that he had recreated the cover (just not nude). And disappointment when he reached out to the band members but the never responded.
I question his current motives and statements.

Harvard University has a new chief chaplain, and he’s an atheist: Humanist chaplain Greg Epstein, author of Good Without God.
Quote:Greg Epstein will become the head of representatives of the religious community at the Ivy League School
Epstein, who has served as Harvard's 'humanist chaplain' since 2005, is a devout atheist and caters to atheists, agnostics and humanists
His elevation to the position is meant to be inclusive of larger and larger numbers of Americans who identify as spiritual but not religious
'There is a rising group of people who no longer identify with any religious tradition but still experience a real need for conversation and support around what it means to be a good human and live an ethical life,' he said
A survey of the school's class of 2019 showed 21 percent of the class as agnostic and 17 percent were atheists; two thirds identified as 'somewhat or very liberal'
The position of chaplain is not necessarily tied to one particular religion, although it has origins in the Christian tradition

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

This guy has "Nevermind" tattooed across his chest and has re-created the photo at least twice, offering to do so nude at least once. The public is moving on from Nirvana and the grunge movement and this asshole isn't getting any more play out of his tangential ties to the band so he's making a cash grab while he can.

This other guy might have a case, though -
Frog Suing Silverchair
Quote:Kevin Rocheedy, a 30-year-old green frog who is now unemployed and living in the cistern of a Cessnock public toilet, told the court through his lawyer that Silverchair took advantage of him and because of that, has suffered and requires large financial compensation.
Even though frontman Daniel Johns was only 14-years-old and “70 kilos wringing wet”, Mr Rocheedy says it still hurt a great deal when Mr Johns repeatedly stomped on him during the photo sessions for the artwork.
According to court documents, the amphibian was tricked into posting for the photo by the record label, who assured him that no stomping would take place.

Isis-K sets off bomb in Afghanistan. Turns out they want the Americans out and the Taliban out. Now that could be useful.
Why is it so?

You think ISIS- K would be an improvement???
That would be like opting for a guillotine to cure your dandruff......
With remarkably similar results..

Not an improvement, but they might serve to keep the Taliban occupied for a bit.
