The problem is he asks for explanations and clarification on subjects he clearly feels a Certain Way about, and when people patiently and sincerely answer him (often times using supporting evidence in their explanation), he ignores or scoffs at those responses, and then demeans the people who tried to engage with him honestly. That is literally the script for every thread started by OLB. Boo freakin hoo. He doesn’t want to have a discussion. He doesn’t want to learn anything new. He just wants to rile up the woke SJW’s.

As reasonable as it is that a society evolves, even a liberal cause under the guise of wokeness can be taken too far toward the detriment of regression rather than progression. It is that to which OLB is alluding, I assume.

That has been my experience as well. Something that appears to be extreme in one group of people may be considered tame in another. Everything is relative.
I wonder if you consider yourself to be a white supremacist, as Nudger asserted. That hasn't been my impression so far. Grumpy ass hole doesn't necessarily equal white supremacist.

We're all learning. I accept that and try to be patient. I used to be highly gender critical with a gatekeeper mindset, especially when I first came out. But the more interactions I have, the more open I am to everyone exploring these things in whatever way they want to.
I don't think "Only idiots think that men get pregnant." is a charitable take on the issue. It's very confrontational and a strawman to boot. Yet people reacting to that aggressive tone is unfair?
I think the name calling is droll and frustrating because I wish you guys would just hold fast and stick to the issues. But the "how dare you" reaction to people's reactions is disingenuous, imo.

I've got a friend who thinks it's funny somebody would accuse me of that - as I was one of the guys that dated his little sister in school..... She dumped me BTW...I was (in her words) too horny and handsy for her at the time...
