When I bartended in Arizona all weapons were to be turned in at the bar when people entered. So were biker leathers. It was a cowboy town and we were the only rock and roll bar...sometimes the crowd in the bar I worked at didn't get along all that well with the people from the cowboy bar next door and they liked to come over to play pool.

The story was that some of the boys from next door were in playing pool one night when a young couple came in. The guy was walking the girl on a leash...some people didn't see the humor in it and people got hurt. After that all weapons and leathers had to be turned in. Kind of weird that we gave them back their stuff after they got their drunk on.

As for the bar 37 brought up...it's a gimmick, the place is in Rifle, Colorado.

OLB. I cannot tell you how many times, in all my years of debate on tons of other social media, I get to the point of asking the other if they think I should be allowed to own a firearm. The answer has 100% of the time has been "NO!". But the problem with their logic is, based on our general national standard, I have no criminal record, no history of violence. 

No, I am not crazy. But I do love making firearm worshipers squirm. I hate guns, I will never own one, have no desire to own one. But if the thought of you not wanting me to own one, causes you cognitive dissonance, it is worth it to me. 

My only gripe with the other side isn't that guns exist, or get sold. My gripe is that they cannot understand that if they want less firearm violence, like most sane people claim to want, and rightfully so, then the starting point has to be vetting when the buyer walks through the door. But the other question outside that, I have never gotten a good answer to, is how many firearms in the public's hands would be enough? 1 billion, 10 billion. 100 billion? I never get a good answer to that question.
