I hate religion Norfolk. You'd have to be incredibly deluded IMO thinking 9/11 had anything whatsoever to do with religion, apart from raping it to further your cause, as is always the case.

Then I'm incredibly deluded, like Osama Bin Laden was. His rhetoric was all about what the west was doing to Islam, and how Islam was going to do all sorts to get it back. Islam. I said Islam. No Islam, no suicide plane fliers. Religion was undeniably behind those atrocities of 9/11, 7/7.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
Reminiscent of the Inquisition all over again eh??

I full agree with you on this, one of Bin Ladin's complaints which were part of his organization's justification for the 9/11 attacks was namely the presence of infidels (in particular US military forces which were invited by the Saudi government) in Saudi Arabia. That is a good indicator of the truly crazy thinking of these Islamic fundamentalists. Who are quite willing to do things like poison the water supply of cities and maybe starting forest fires*. * I have read some article once that the Greek forest fires some while back were maybe started by Al Qaeda Operatives.
