Based on your behavior here I think you're a placebo responder.
Melatonin isn't even placebo.

No, but I'm convinced that your response is. You perceive and attribute exaggerated effects.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I'm a nervous person, and melatonin is relaxing and makes me tired. Perhaps its profound effect is due to my nervousness.

Get him some melatonin gummies.

He'd probably refer CBD gummies but they are a bit pricey.

I took Melatonin for a few years. It really helped when I was going through a long phase of insomnia.

Without studying or having ever really intentionally incorporating this information into my noggin, I automatically hear/know the state/country after you say the name of several capitals and notable cities. Like, I mighta had a test on U.S. capitals in the 3rd or 4th grade but nobody reinforced that information since then. Pop culture did.

Similarly, I also automatically associate several tech companies with their CEOs and presidents. There was never a test for that particular information.

My cousin really pisses me off with his constant idiocy. It's like, dude, you're the one who got addicted to drugs, no one did that to you. He's fucking lost in the sauce, I mean hooked on some bad shit. He lost a ton of weight within a few months, to the point of being borderline unrecognizable, and tried to play it off like it was just some natural thing. He seems "out there" mentally now, not a good change. His mom said he needs therapy, I doubt that would help him, and he won't go anyway.

Osmosis is a perfectly valid learning method. But it can trip you up. For instance, what country do you think of when I name Rome, Milan, and Naples?

Automatically? Italy. But Naples also brings up an association with Florida. Like, I see "Naples" and think "Naples, Florida".

If you can't look back on a younger version of yourself and understand what an idiot you were, you're probably still an idiot.
