Do you or do you not believe in the Christian god? Or is there another god that you believe in?
You seem to play both sides and the middle, depending on the day and the conversation. I hope there's an afterlife where I can fulfill all of my (let's face it) evil desires. I do not believe in the Christian God. I am prone to making gods out of humans. I've even written prayers centered around a couple people.
Generally, the afterlife is not seen as a place to fulfill evil desires. Not sure where you got that concept from.

And what about just ceasing to exist? No heaven, no hell...just done...no longer existing in any way other than in come people's memories.

I can imagine not existing. I get closer to it every day, I will be 65 in a couple months and have had some severe health issues, it's coming sooner rather than later. I can't stop it from happening so I don't intend to expend any energy worrying about it.

It's not a choice I can make...it just is.

Yeah that's just an opinion. The supernatural isn't probable/improbable. It either exists or it doesn't. We won't know until we leave this world.
So, you're a hard agnostic, then? You think that all gods are exactly 50% probable/their probability is indeterminate?
You have absolutely no reason to think that any of them are unlikely ... ?
Everything has to be probable or improbable unless it's exactly 50% or indeterminate. And indeterminate is effectively 50% because it means you have no reason to think it's likely or unlikely.
X or not X. Probable or not. You aren't a baby born without a God concept. Fair enough if you're ignostic about particular gods like me. But there are plenty of gods that are at the very least improbable. Some even impossible.

All choices are illusory at best.
