A different perspective
RE: A different perspective
A garden full of white and delightsome sex robots. Sounds downright islamic. I believe there's a quote about how, when a person describes their heaven, you know what's missing in their life.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well until one of you can come up with a better Heaven than mine, I'll have to assume mine is the best.

I already live in a garden that accomodates thousands of people where I get to have sex with a beautiful person and drink to my hearts content, wandering around with my junk out. I mean, we're less naked now than we used to be - what with all the rugrats - but I can't imagine us getting bored or wishing it were any other way.

Your heaven idea is fine as far as it goes, but it's about half empty compared to my life directly. That's the general trouble with peoples heaven ideas. They're private low fi versions of things we have in life. You're likely to add more stuff over time, as you gain life experience. Take my little bro - your heaven up there wouldn't be fit without saying "and drones, lots of drones" because he's a nut about drones. Essentially, you're trying to write the perfect country western song - but the song you wrote doesn't have anything to say about mama, trains, trucks, prison, or gettin drunk.

Who has those things? Maybe some people, but not me.

(February 24, 2022 at 11:59 pm)Ahriman Wrote: For as much as so-called “normal” people dislike anti-social people, anti-social people are actually much closer to the truth (in their thinking) than the “normal” people. I mean it’s really not even close, when I say “much closer to the truth”. An anti-social person’s opinions/beliefs/perceptions will always be more logically correct than a normal person’s. It can be argued, that it would be much wiser, to base the human world (how it works, what it values, etc.) on an anti-social person’s world view, as opposed to the world view of a normal person.

Just to be clear on what it means to have an antisocial mindset, here are some characteristics of someone with ASPD (antisocial personality disorder):
  • Disregard for right and wrong
  • Persistent lying or deceit to exploit others
  • Being callous, cynical and disrespectful of others
  • Using charm or wit to manipulate others for personal gain or personal pleasure
  • Arrogance, a sense of superiority and being extremely opinionated
  • Recurring problems with the law, including criminal behavior
  • Repeatedly violating the rights of others through intimidation and dishonesty
  • Impulsiveness or failure to plan ahead
  • Hostility, significant irritability, agitation, aggression or violence
  • Lack of empathy for others and lack of remorse about harming others
  • Unnecessary risk-taking or dangerous behavior with no regard for the safety of self or others
  • Poor or abusive relationships
  • Failure to consider the negative consequences of behavior or learn from them
  • Being consistently irresponsible and repeatedly failing to fulfill work or financial obligations
From MayoClinic.

Yeah, with such pattern of thinking and behaviour, I strongly disagree that it's much wiser to base the human world on the antisocial worldview ... whatever you believe that worldview may be exactly.

So, tell me, your heaven appeared to be a grove or orchard of some kind. How much do you know about tending to fruit?

I don't know anything about it.

If it's something that features in your perfect country and western song, perhaps it's something you'd enjoy looking into while you're alive - and if it's something you have no affinity for in life...what's it doing in your heaven?

Granted - it may be that you've only included it because so many other beliefs in some spirit world include it and you're an empty headed person down to your very bones. Chalk it up to symbolism, particularly in that it's ripe fruit after fucking. A side of fucking with your fucking. Peaches errywhere.

Your overthinking of everything annoys me.
