I once ended up in bed with a woman that had mirrors on the ceiling and on the wall next to the bed.
Weird....

Couple days ago my dogs started barking and were all near the front door. No one rang the bell. I was not expecting anyone and have a very clear 'no soliciting' sign on the door.
Without opening the door, I told the person at the door - no thank you. I went back to the kitchen. The dogs started barking again. The guy wouldn't leave.
I didn't want to open the door and possibly be pushed back into the house so I went out the side door and went around to the front door but not too close. Obviously startled the guy. Told him again, no thank you. He immediately said he was not soliciting.
I backed up to allow him to walk down the sidewalk to the main sidewalk where he proceeded to tell me that he had tracked his lost wallet to my yard. At that point I asked him why he was in my yard with his wallet out. Told him again to leave, and yes he was in some sort of embroidered polo shirt and carrying a tablet.
Called husband who was on his way home from work so he wouldn't take a side trip on his way.
He found the guy and instructed him to stay away from our house.
So, yeah, unnerved me a bit, but neither my husband or I pulled a gun, even though we are in Texas.
Still, made me nervous. I am usually home alone. Thank goodness for my dogs. They may not be much for protection other than being great alarms.

The KC that lives behind us is kind of a pain. It constantly barks at us, whether we or she is outside or inside (she can see us thru the sliding glass door), often for more than an hour at a time.
We believe our female would like to kill her. (it's a bitch on bitch thing) I make sure the fence between them is maintained.

Mine only bark when they see/hear something that isn't usual. And at the garbage collection trucks...they HATE those trucks.
That's how I know something needs to be investigated.

Are you saying that I'm not usual?

You, sir, are usually quite unusual.
But in a good way.

I'll take that as a compliment.
