If the neighbors find out they' ll try and get your Texan Membership card revoked.........
I didn't want to deal with the mess and all that paperwork.
You just drag them to the street and play dumb.

Without opening the door, I told the person at the door - no thank you. I went back to the kitchen. The dogs started barking again. The guy wouldn't leave.
I didn't want to open the door and possibly be pushed back into the house so I went out the side door and went around to the front door but not too close. Obviously startled the guy. Told him again, no thank you. He immediately said he was not soliciting.
I backed up to allow him to walk down the sidewalk to the main sidewalk where he proceeded to tell me that he had tracked his lost wallet to my yard. At that point I asked him why he was in my yard with his wallet out. Told him again to leave, and yes he was in some sort of embroidered polo shirt and carrying a tablet.
Called husband who was on his way home from work so he wouldn't take a side trip on his way.
He found the guy and instructed him to stay away from our house.
So, yeah, unnerved me a bit, but neither my husband or I pulled a gun, even though we are in Texas.
Still, made me nervous. I am usually home alone. Thank goodness for my dogs. They may not be much for protection other than being great alarms.

She did the right thing. Proper procedure is to call the cops and let THEM shoot him. That’s what you pay cops for, right?

I've watched enough true crime to know that would have left a blood smear.

Claim that was the local JW's leaving trace up to your door. Stepped in the blood then dragged their feet.
Besides, Texas has a 'they needed killing' statute.

When I was in school for Criminal Justice, one of my professors was a TX attorney - he's the one I first heard the 'he needed killin' line from. I couldn't help but laugh, I was caught so off guard.

What color should I paint my gaming room?

Something really dark. What's your favorite color? Go for a dark shade of that. Do one wall a couple shades lighter...it's make the room look bigger and be more interesting.
