What is your alternative idea to "courts", Helios? And I did not bash blacks, liar. I'm bashing activists that are proposing nonsense. Nice that you see blacks as a monolith. Cut it out. 80 percent of black people do not want the police defunded. Stop lying and acting like YOUR views represent black people's views. I was merely responding to Nudge attacking gay rights activists and trying to lessen those achievements.
https://news.yahoo.com/blm-co-founder-sl...46217.html
Patrisse Cullors, a BLM founder, said she found it "triggering" — emotionally compromising — when she hears about financial documents being made public.
Cullors claimed that activists’ lives are put at risk and that they endure trauma by having to disclose their charities’ finances, while also claiming the system "is being literally weaponized against us," the Washington Examiner reported.
"This doesn't seem safe for us, this 990 structure — this nonprofit system structure," she said. "This is, like, deeply unsafe. This is being literally weaponized against us, against the people we work with." 1. I said she is an abolitionist and thus clearly supports an alternative system to our current one and thus is not proposing anarchy. Regardless of any actions, she or BLM may have taken it's still a valid position your employing a textbook Ad hominem. Also at no point does she say finical disclosers are racist and thus BLM should not be subject to them. It's not even in the quote you use.
2. Accept you have not demonstrated its nonsense. Just asserting that it is is not an argument. Actually, you are bashing blacks and I have at no point either stated blacks are a monolith or that my views represent anybody. So actually it's you who is lying about me and about Nudge as at no point does he bash gay activists in that quote
So fail Nudge basically seemed to be rolling his eyes and saying that gay rights in the west are not that impressive to him or worthy of mention and that Saudi Arabia is right behind us in progressiveness. Reminds me of when the woke attack and refuse to participate in gay pride parades because they're "too white". Hell, we can't force diverse people to show up. Show up rather than boycotting, and help us make it less white and more diverse.

Stonewall, Britain’s biggest LGBT charity, has pulled out of this year’s Pride in London festival, citing concerns over the event’s “lack of diversity”.
The decision came after Pride’s organisers rejected concerns raised by its own advisory board last year that it was not inclusive enough for minority ethnic communities.
When the community advisory board released a report suggesting the event needed to improve its representation of black, Asian and minority ethnic groups, a spokesman for Pride said it did not believe the report reflected the majority view and was “inaccurate in many places which is disrespectful to the many volunteers who work hard to deliver the event”.

Lol, that's what you got from his comment your delusional. As for the" woke"(a meaningless buzzword), "Attack," it's a valid objection to pride parades and they have every right to withdraw if they don't feel like the event is representative of their group. Nor at any point in the article were they saying force diverse people they did say they wanted changes to attract minorities which is fine.

Judge Dredd is what could happen with a militarised police force given far too many powers.
Also, yes.
Iso-cubes are Mega-City prisons.
Something of a Judge Dredd fan, here.

The Right and Left often use edits to highlight a statement to "brand" someone a radical. Sometimes its justified but often it isn't. Context matters.
Now, if there wasn't any mediating context, then yes, this person is a radical, but how would you know without seeing the full interview? Too bad she never says what IA says she does. At no point does she call financial disclosures racist
In the longer video I watched, she's talking about this especially in the context of black female lead non-profits, but you are right. The quote does say activists. The point remains though, that this woman is a quack for saying that non-profits shouldn't have to financially disclose as a response to people criticizing her. Sounds like something a scam artist would say.

I think what would qualify a person as radical would be some radical belief that they held. And even then, I'm not ready to write someone off simply because they have a few radical beliefs.
They are self-proclaimed radicals and you are the one that phrased being radical as a negative thing. I didn't bring up the word radical. Radical can be good or bad. It depends whether the changes you're aiming for are good for society or bad and just not realistic.
The lady is no longer working for BLM, but you should write BLM off as an organization, since there is millions of dollars donated to them that is unaccounted for right now, they are spending millions of dollars on houses, and BLM put a statement up on their official website calling Jussie Smollett innocent not long ago.
BLM the organization is in shambles, but of course protest should still continue and the more reasonable protesters should be listened to, and the pressure should be kept on the powers that be. I don't have all of the answers for how we get to a more equal society, but I'm pretty confident that getting rid of courts and telling society to just learn to deal with harm better is not the answer. I'm pretty sure that Boru's idea of making arrest and detainment optional and letting criminals run away is not the answer we're looking for either, but we should keep striving for that answer, whatever it is.
(Bold mine)
Then isn't it lucky that that is absolutely NOT what I said?

How is letting someone run not making detainment optional? What if they run again the next time you go after them, and the next time after that?
