Your sex is primarily biological, your gender is primarily cultural/social/psychological. Boru

One last comment on this subject. If I can be who I am and identify as whatever gender I feel I am, it reduces gender totally to an opinion. It destroys any solid concept of gender. I've tried and tried to get someone to give a solid definition of gender and all I got was "whatever you think it is". My opinion is to be who you are and be proud of that, but don't try to change the meaning of gender in the process. We can end up with all kinds of destructive consequences such as that giant college swimmer we see posing next to those female swimmers. I feel sorry for those women.
I just thought of this way of asking the question. Are there any defining differences between the male and female genders? Please name some.

I have long hair down to the middle of my back. I trim my eyebrows, shave my arms & legs, wear makeup & some discrete eyeshadow, wear (on occasion) modest skirts & dresses, and love sandals.
