The Hunter: Steve McQueen/Lavar Burton. Last move McQueen made prior to his death. Lots of 1970's stuff (afros, leisrue suits, .......)

This week in the Deep Hurting Project, Alice in Murderland. It's from the same people who made Curse of Pirate Death, except this time, it's a slasher movie based (loosely) on Alice in Wonderland. And for reasons I'll elaborate upon later, it's probably the last movie I'll cover for the Deep Hurting Project for a while.
- Nice to see that Joan Jett's got her Real Estate License.
- Okay, who the Hell was the girl who got beaten with a rubber axe by the Grim Reaper?
- By a strange coincidence, this review's happening close to the 161st Anniversary of the fateful day where Lewis Carroll first came up with the stories that would become Alice in Wonderland.
- This is one of the least plausible college professor's office I've ever seen. Even if this is an adjunct professor. And I'm not sure why David Cross is slumming it.
- So, first the killer is the Grim Reaper, now he's the Mad Hatter?
- Did I mention this is an Alice in Wonderland Party? Yes, you did in our last scene together.
- Uncle Renee?
- Matt climbing through the sorority house window makes me think there should be some vaguely-Lenny sounding guitar chord over it:
- You see your friends getting murdered in a dream, and your big takeaway is that one of them's gay?
- Friendly PSA from someone who's actually read Alice in Wonderland. The big-ass dragon is called The Jabberwock. "Jabberwocky" is the poem. There is no creature called "The Jabberwocky." KTHXBAI.
- This is an alleyway, not a junkyard.
- Your 21st Birthday, and it's the last year of college?
- So, what character from Alice in Wonderland has a touque blanche that says "Kiss the Chef?" And why is she the one complaining about the inaccurate costumes?
- So, it's confirmed that Matt's using a ladder when he climbs through the window. His being Sam from Clarissa Explains it All is now confirmed.
- So, is that red dragon supposed to be the Jabberwock? Shouldn't it be fucking a donkey by now? Or sitting on your doorstep, eating puppy dog tails and big, fat snails? Crap, that dragon's supposed to be Green, isn't it?
- The Mad Tea Party's supposed to be separate from the executions.
- This catfight is lame as fuck. Someone get Mark Hogancamp to show them how it's done.
- Wait, what? There's traps now?
- Okay, so this is apparently a no-budget, no-art version of Climax now.
- So, what's with this new random flashback?
- Why are you going to just post a single still photo to Youtube? And how is the sort of person who surreptitiously snaps a picture of a friend's panties so they can plaster it on social media a good friend?
- Oh, right, it's the Jabberwock. Nice to see you make a second appearance almost an hour into this 86-minute movie. And how's he even killing anyone?
- So, something's supposed to fall on Malory's head, and then give her an electric shock. So why the fuck does she need glue?
- So, are they really treating a girl just walking off the couch like she spontaneously vanished?
- And why is Donna glued to the toilet?
- I don't know about you, but I can totally buy that there's chunks of human ass still glued to that toilet seat. And that she has so few nerves in her ass that the resultant pain barely even registers.
- I fucking swear, the ending of Master of Martial Hearts was less of an ass pull than this.
So, why is The Project going on hiatus? There's a few reasons, but there's one important one: I've run out of So Bad It's Horrible films on streaming. When I started the Project, I cross-referenced everything on TVTropes' So Bad It's Horrible/Film list with my local library's DVD inventory. For four and a half years, I checked both lists at least once a month to see what new spores of madness I could bear witness to. When I couldn't find any more in the library, I checked the increasingly large number of streaming services I was signed up for (particularly Amazon Prime). When that ran out, I looked for all the free streaming services I could actually access, most notably Tubi.
Alice in Murderland is the last movie on Tubi that was A) on the So Bad It's Horrible list, B) in English, and C) left unseen. According to JustWatch, 1299 movies were added to the streaming services I can access in the last two days. ZERO of those movies were eligible. At this point, all I have left are YouTube uploads, but with my sleep issues getting worse AND an upcoming vacation, I figured that this was probably a good place to stop for now. The Deep Hurting Project started as a New Year's Resolution, and 4 years, six months, and one day is probably an astronomically long time to stick to one. Maybe I'll get back to it in August with whatever YouTube uploads I can find there. And I'll probably find a more convenient time than Sunday Afternoon.
On a lighter note, apparently Cannibal Holocaust is on Peacock now.

Gigantis is Godzilla.
Second kaiju movie. "Rodan" is next in line chronologically.
