That feeling when you realise that Roger Waters' long-standing criticism of Israel has (most likely) officially crossed the line from legitimate critique of a nation with some seriously questionable policies to full-blown anti-semitism:

I didn't even like to run when I was a kid.  I rode my bike almost everywhere even after I had Jen.  Plopped her in the kid seat and off we went since we didn't have a car.

Run - even if I was being chased I would just give up without taking a step.

Same here, I do not like exerting myself at all. I have blood pressure issues so I'm not trying to run, I might have a stroke.

Remember that there’s a context to Roger Water’s Nazi getup in The Wall. That it’s a symbol of his alienation from his own humanity and the power that he holds over his fans. And that he has to destroy that part of himself, even if he doesn’t end up surviving. I would have thought that was obvious, but then the big controversy over it came into play last year.

Then again, I’ve been a fan of Floyd since I was 13.

There are medications for that.  Since my heart attack, I take two different ones.

Remember that there’s a context to Roger Water’s Nazi getup in The Wall. That it’s a symbol of his alienation from his own humanity and the power that he holds over his fans. And that he has to destroy that part of himself, even if he doesn’t end up surviving. I would have thought that was obvious, but then the big controversy over it came into play last year.

That part of the second platter of The Wall was a bit of self-reflection after Roger caught himself spitting in the face of an adoring fan during the Animals tour, but lately he's reverted.  Be nice if he went back to Granchester Meadows for a bit. chasing that fly.

Former lead singer of Pink Floyd.  Tours solo now.  Called the war in Ukraine "probably the most provoked invasion ever.”  Says similar things about Israel. Sucks because that puts him in a level with the likes of Ted Nugent, forcing old rockers like me and Rev. Rye to compartmentalize.

I started walking, on my doctor's advice. He told me 15 minutes/day, 3 MPH. I'm now doing two, 2-mile trips each day at better than 4 mph, with 15 minutes of cooldown after each. Getting diagnosed pre-diabetic, coupled with kicking the cigarette addiction some years back,  has been the best thing to happen to me in at least a decade. I've lost nearly seventy pounds, got my wind back, and I haven't felt this good since my early thirties, back when my kids were keeping me active. Best of all, I'm no longer even pre-diabetic.

Good for you!  Sounds like an amazing life change.

If there's no high country snow between now and the 7th, I think I'm gonna tackle a 14'er. The Beirstadt trail is just a bit over 3.5 miles, so the distance won't be a problem. But, over that 3.5ish miles, the trail gains 2582 feet, an average slope of 18.7 degrees! I've been told by friends that have made the hike, that the half-way point is the worst part of the trail and if you can get past that, the rest of the slope is relatively easy. It'll be my 3rd 14er, but the first that wasn't a simple drive to the top (Pike's Peak and Mt. Blue Sky, formerly Evans).

Rowling's work is great, and so is Roger's.  But they're rotten people.
