Made some cornbread from Dolly Parton’s recipe.

It wound up tasting unusually salty (I might have overdone the salt) and acidic (I used milk with added vinegar for buttermilk, this is the first time I can remember this not working.). Also, the closest thing to a 9-inch skillet I had was a bit bigger than suggested.

Making a pizza for lunch.

Just went out to have the oil changed in my car. Went to a place that I went to last spring for my inspection. No one ever showed up to even ask me what I needed so I left and went elsewhere. Thought today I would give them another chance. Pulled my car in and the young man took some information and I was then informed that I would need to go to an auto parts store and buy the filter because it's a common filter and they were all out of them. No thank you.

Went to another place and was in and out in about 20 minutes, no attempts at upselling and while waiting I found a $15.00 coupon online. Guess that's where I will go in a couple months when I have to have my car inspected again.
