Did you watch Dune 2 yet?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I don't know if I would watch it again, but it was interesting, unique, and a bit surreal. Netflix instant watch
I remember when I came across the title I was wondering if I have watched it once upon a time. I will have to start watching it to refresh my memory.

One of the most intense movies I have seen in a long time. A must see!
I enjoyed the movie.

Actually, it's war FOR drugs. Without spice the Guild can't maneuver their Heighliners.
It was both.

The drugs, in common usage, were for good health and longevity IIRC.

That was just melange. The books teem with all sorts of drugs.
That’s really beside the point - for good or bad, people on all sides of that war were pretty drugged up.

Makes you wonder how much personal research the writer did.
