Roe v. Wade is gone.
RE: Roe v. Wade is gone.
Also, ever heard of overpopulation? We have that kind of thing nowadays, and abortion can be a way to avoid it. I think the pro-life people are acting, key word, acting like they are too pro-life, to the point that they are allowing overpopulation and allowing humans to breed so fast. I always thought one reason was because more people means more power for others, but while murder is no option, and abortion does not count as murder here, we should use abortion and not breeding too fast to reduce overpopulation. This may sound a bit cruel, but some people are not going to be born into a good life, and biological life and social life are two different things.

Now, some people may think they have the right to have a child. Still, some people can’t afford to take care of a child, and some children are abused, and not taken care of well. I believe some people are not meant to have a child for some reasons I just said. How can one have a right to have a child when they can’t take care of it?

I think pro-life people are pro-overpopulation, as they may seemingly not allow for control for population, and this would lead to an increase in population here that can be bad.

If we start deciding who does and doesn't have a right to have children by checking bank accounts then there's a fair chance that none of us here will make (or would have made) that eventual cut.

On the other end...who here thinks that the well-off have been raising their children particularly well......?

Well, there is no official method to decide that kind of thing, of course. Even then, well, I think it would have to be a more complicated process that would include more factors (behavioral history, for example) than just bank accounts.

I'm not sure that adding a government psych eval to the credit check would make it better.

Especially, since the checks and balances are now just for show.

The fed would ensure your financial worth by checking your collection of trump merch and trump stock - and cross reference that against your behavioral history as a reich wing evangelical christian.

Like they did with all those stolen mexican kids they lost on purpose.

Maybe, maybe not. Thing is, I did not really say it would be better.

BUT anyway...the only official method we practically have for something like deciding the right to have a child for people is through letting the individuals decide for themselves. However, while that can be not actually bad in itself, IN itself, many people aren't so bright nowadays, so that has made the thing flawed, if I have it down correctly.

But yeah, some people realize it they might not want or be able to take care of a child too late after...that process is done. That is one of the reasons why I think abortion can come in handy, AND like I said, the fetus is not an actual child.

I also forgot to say, giving a fetus rights over an adult mother is a bad idea, wouldn't you all say?

The government has no business being anywhere near such a personal decision.

To an extent I agree, but I'm also of the notion that stupid people who cannot financially support a lifestyle of children should not receive government assistance.

I know what you mean. The situation I described was more hypothetical, not a desire.
