My therapist and I clarified our terms recently. Apparently lying in bed but not sleeping is termed 'resting', as opposed to the full frontal log-sawing sessions called naps.

TIL: What a carving fork is. Jacques Pépin in his video on carving chickens used one and it was just what I've been wanting to pick up chickens and turkeys with. And I'm ordering a cheap 8" carving knife while I'm at it. I've got a good quality 11" carving knife, but it's a bit much for chickens.
