My ocular/retinal (visual) migraines are not associated with the migraine headache. It's just a visual disturbance that typically passes after a couple of hours. Not the aurora precursor of impending doom.

Wondering why we celebrate American independence on July 4th. We declared our independence on that day in 1776, but we didn't achieve independence until the British recognized it with the Treaty of Paris on September 3, 1783.
