While it may be true that the lives saved by car seats specifically in children over the age of two are less than the possible lives parents may have created if they could have afforded another kid...and even if they weren't mandated... parents are going to buy the fucking car seats, and the cars they need to fit the fucking car seats...which is what drove the minivan and suv explosion in the market..adding to the debt and financial burden felt by those parents who would, if they could, have three or more children.
Americans are under incredible financial stress above the replacement rate, the whole maga campaign is built on lying around that truth, and rather than address that problem Shillbilly blames the laws themselves for the decreased ability of americans to raise more than a single child. The whole pitch is on drugs all the time.
