I’m starting to think that the emails from Amazon telling me, ‘Your shipment was delayed in transit’ actually means, ‘We lost your package, but we’re not going to admit it out loud.’

I have a package that is both being delivered today and is still in Kansas - over seven hours drive from here.  I don't think I will hold my breath.

UPS delivered a package to me today that until it was delivered, could not be located by their tracker. As far as they were concerned, the other party still had it.

I just got notification that they will give me a new delivery date when my package starts moving again.  Apparently it wandered off.

It's not always bad. Due to 'delayed in transit', I once wound up with ten pocket tees when I only paid for five.

It seems that autumn arrived last night. That's how it happens here. No easing into fall...just bam...turn on the heat. It will be about 30 degrees cooler today than it was yesterday.
