An individual identifying as a male, in regards to sex, does not change the fact on the matter anymore than I claiming to be a descendant of the tribes of Karakorum makes it true - these things are dictated by biology, not opinion. 

"Male' is defined - in a biological sense - as, "of-or-related to the sex which cannot birth young or produce eggs."

This is the definition you would find in the OED before 2020; in the Britannica before the 1990s, and in any dictionary, thesaurus, almanac or encyclopedia before the 1940s - and realistically, the 90s across the board when the UN/WHO began changing their own internal definitions.

Hormones do not change your DNA and thus cannot change your sex; nor will mutilation of your genitals.

You can force your body through expensive, experimental, ethically dubious and unquestionably manipulative medical practices to become more "male/female *passing,*" but the fundamental DNA is not changed by the surgery and ultimately does not change your sex.

Yet again, I am aware of what the modern definition of gender has been expanded to include; that's why I specifically referenced the academics from which that modern definition was manipulated as a social tool.

You know I didn't spend tens of thousands of dollars on an anthropology degree for nothing, right? One that included two courses in human sexuality, studying wonderful cultural practices like the "enigmatic" Hijrah (sp?) of India, the "Two-Spirits" of the Plains, or the cum-eating religious rituals of certain Central-and-South African cultures...

I learned the stuff, it's interesting, but it's ultimately goofy and not based on the natural science but rather upon the social sciences; hence the reason it fell under my major (Anthropology, liberal arts) instead of biology. 

Are you aware that before political movements in the 90s, social movements in the 70s, and post-modern academic ideals in the 50s, the concept of "gender" as you are using it would likely not exist - particularly the former two?
