His birth name was the most German and un-Jack White-ish name you could think of, Horst Nußbaum.

My two youngest paired up with two sisters who lived down the street from us and went trick or treating as KISS. Though they were all blonde, the other girls' mom had been a huge KISS fan and had albums that she and I were able to use as guides to do the makeup. I was never a huge fan but the kids sure looked good that night.

My eldest son is currently deployed. If he gets behind on his mortgage we'll step up and help him until he's back up on an even keel, if necessary. We live mostly on Social Security but do have some funds available. I know that I don't need to point out that people we expect to step up to the pointy end of US policy shouldn't have to figure out when they're going to be fucking paid. All those congress critters wandering about aimlessly instead of doing their fucking jobs are still getting paid.

The idea that we are forcing our fighting troops to serve unpaid while Congresscritters are playing hookey while still collecting six or seven times their pay is beyond infuriating. My son, on deployment, can't even draw TDY pay, let alone his salary. These fuckers are busy arguing policy over wine and cheese, in the meantime.

Anyone got a list of any Congress members who have donated their shutdown paychecks to the federal workers they are refusing to pay?
