Not at all, precisely the opposite, in fact. In us law until now you couldn't so much as whisper the word about a domestic in any legal sense..even if it were true in any straightforward sense of the term. That's why right wing terrorists don't get investigated as terrorists...and all that this would entail. Why mass shooters are sick lone wolves. Why coupster militias are just citizens aggressively pursuing their rights. The point of the exercize from their pov is to see if they might be able to criminalize non terrorist shit as terrorist shit while simultaneously enjoying such protection for themselves. Establishing a legally enforced monopoly on the the terror racket.

Part of the window pushing, yes. Notice that they aren't asking for john q's input on a bill to amend our longstanding federal laws on the subject, though. No one on either side of the aisle actually wants the us government to be able to do...what they're doing.

Our coupster courts are going to turn a blind eye to this as long as they feel they are in power...and come down hard against it as soon as they think it might help "the other guy". Settled law is whatever helps me today, while major issues are whatever may arise to hurt me tomorrow.
