That's not entirely true, christians offer some poor jew up as a sacrifice all day every day in their thoughts and prayers. It's actually seen as a virtue. Words fail me.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. OK, burnt offering means stay a virgin and Jesus didn't die for our sins, he was just executed. If you say so, Chipan.

That's a catholic belief. I'm reluctant to call them Christian their beliefs are so radical.

He did die for our sins but he was not an offering of men. He was an offering from God to us.

Not all Christians believe in sacrificial atonement, particularly those exploring Process Theology.

Glad to hear Chad, makes me a little more comfortable falling asleep around you. At least I wont wake up nailed to a piece of wood for something your cousin did before I was born.

It sure does sound stupid when you say it like that and change it up a little with some crap of yours that is not true.

The Catholics are SO Radical, they are not Christians?
Seems they were the only Christians from 300AD (after they killed/abolished the other competing "Christians")
till Martin Luther

Okay. Now I'm confused, I'm just trying to follow you. Was jesus sacrificed for our sins? Or was he no such sacrifice. Is god making offerings to appease us, or appease himself? I just want to be clear.

Not exactly, whateverist. Placing yourself at the mercy of someone else is not the same as throwing yourself on a grenade. In the case of the grenade the enemy soldier has already committed the act of violence. In contrast, the injustice done to Jesus was performed after his surrender.

Jesus picked the wrong people to place himself at the mercy of. Should have tried an atheist crowd. Or at least somebody who doesn't crucify people.
