Also hearing a voice would mean schizophrenia.
Again, not necessarily. Schizophrenia is not just delusions and hearing voices and other conditions cause those symptoms. This "prophet" could have syphilis, epilepsy, vitamin deficiencies or even bipolar disorder. Ingesting certain things will cause this as well.

Schizophrenia is broad. It includes a lot of people with different symptoms. But if someone was hearing voices, then he would be termed schizophrenic.

No, it would not. You do not have to be schizophrenic to hear voices. Of course, that is irrelevant. You can be sane and have schizophrenia. Furthermore, if hearing voices automatically means schizophrenia, which it absolutely does not, the "prophet" in this scenario is schizophrenic, not a prophet.

Oh please. what sickening babble.

Ok you are right about hearing voices. But what about hallucinating things constantly, like hallucinating visions of Angels speak to you.

A lot of things can cause that, none of which are known to be divine in origin.

I mean wouldn't he be schizophrenic in that case (if not divine reason)?
Would he lose control of himself or is it possible he functions well with these hallucinations?

Since there are serial killers whom you could say functioned extraordinarily well while hearing voices, I would say yes

Not necessarily. There are people who hear voices who are not schizophrenic. Furthermore, schizophrenia is a range of symptoms, not just hearing voices.

He would not necessarily lose control of himself.

Yes, Hitler didn't smoke, didn't drink, was very nice to his dogs, was a venegarian, applied himself, loved his country, and then killed lots of people.
Gandhi didn't smoke, didn't drink, was non-violent, was frugle, was faithful to his wife, and was all for having the brutal Japanese army defeat the British so the world may fall to facism on the hope that India may then somehow be free.
The point is you don't know the entirely of a person's character, knowledge, and judgement from any snapshot of.
You never know a person of high character is not of high character until he actually chances to shows the low aspects of his character to you. The worst thing is for you to be blind to his low character even when he is in the act of showing it to you, solely on account of your previously formed impression.
