Why do we nearly always give creationists an equal footing with us? A soapbox, a podium from which to voice their complete and utter backward bollocks?
There's being considerate, and then there's being a glutton for punishment. They don't care about the facts. They don't care about reality.
The moment you respect a creationists position is simultaneously the moment where you disrespect all the ventures, endeavours and exploits science and scientists have ever taken to understand the cosmos in which we exist.

By admitting that the universe "appears" old while claiming that it is young he is basically implying that god has made the universe appear over than it is.
In other words, god has perpetrated a massive fraud upon us.

Religion is fucking bullshit.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

if the 6 days is not taken literally, then geology makes sense so just adjust and accept, and it all works out.
