With the departure of Shell B as an admin, there really only was one candidate out of the current staff who could replace her. Nominated not only because he's a well respected member (and has been for a long time now), but also because he is so level-headed and rarely gets worked up about anything, even when his own beliefs are criticized.
His attitude is something we should all aim for, both on the forums and in the "real world".
Please welcome Rayaan as our new administrator!

Nonetheless, weird as having a theist as an admin on an atheist board is, you can't help but like Rayaan and he's earned it.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
