Why? Atheism implies nothing about ability or honestly. Being Christian is meant to imply all kinds of splendid qualities, but that is seldom the reality. Not here,and not in daily life.

As it turns out,our incumbent Prime Minister is an atheist. I did not vote for her party because I think they are a bunch of useless arseholes and she is an incompetent twit.

Religious beliefs and the sexual preferences of candidates are not issues here,except in the tiny bigoted minds of the lunar religious right and homophobes..


Australia has a long history of atheists in government,and currently has many openly gay members of parliament .The former leader of our major minor party (The Greens) was a gay atheist man.

Issuing a DMCA takedown is saying, "remove this or you'll be liable and I'll sue". Their abuse is well-known, and content hosts will often abide by them even when they are not asserting legitimate copyright protection. You seem to be gleefully threatening to issue DMCA takedown notices at the drop of a hat "for the fucking fun of it".

A good businessman never uses his business as a platform to push forward a political or religious agenda and nor should he. The role of a business is supply and demand, nothing more and nothing less. Anything more isolates segments of the market, alienates customers and makes the business a target to opposing political or religious agendas. I think good business PEOPLE should be allowed to use the maoney they make from being good business PEOPLE any way they like.

Nah, I don't think that's it. I think you think it should be difficult to do things you don't like, regardless of legality; if someone's doing something you don't like with your speech, even if it's fair use, you'll just threaten them so they'll have to be more careful or be more willing to go to court / stand up to content providers who will presumptively remove content that you complain about, regardless of the merit of your complaint.

Actually no. They don't have the right to stop that business from locating in their city. Boston's mayor, Tom Menino is backing off his threat to ban Chick-fil-A from entering the city. He said that would be an infringement on their rights. The same case holds true for the Alderman in Chicago who at first threatened to ban Chick-fil-A from entering there as well. No public official has the right to abuse his position in office to threaten or bully someone because that person's opinions differs from theirs.....
