Contrary to multiple reports from Fox News, the U.S. embassy in Cairo - not the State Department in Washington - put out the statement on Sept. 11 several hours before a mob of protesters breached the wall of the embassy, took down an American flag and replaced it with a black flag.

I'm missing your point here Faith. The embassy is part of the State Department, but I'm not sure if that's the distinction you're trying to make. What does the timing or embassy/DC state dept have to do with criticizing the government's condemnation of the use of free speech?

From what I can see, the embassy released a statement about the video, saying it supports freedom of speech. Mitt then took that to "somehow" mean Obama was apologizing for America, he releases it at 12:01 september 12th to avoid accusations of "playing politics on sept 11th". By that time protests had started, I'm not sure when the ambassador died, he apparently died of smoke innhalation....... the fact that Romney pre-recorded this message shows he's either an idiot and attacked the president without caring about lives in egypt and libya, OR HE WAS WILLING TO ATTACK OBAMA with a pre-conceived narrative, no matter what Obama's reaction to these protests were

It gets really hard to describe the idiocy of all of this at this point......

now were seeing protests in Yemen as well....... I'm not sure what exactly happened in detail, were now hearing there was a planned sept 11th anniversary attack ,in Libya but they're not sure how credible that is, but more importantly, I'm not sure how far all this will go. But the fact that, Romney is using news about an ambassadors death to make himself look good, and rather then just apologize hes repeating this lie over and over again.......
