So I went to lunch with a friend this afternoon, I get back to my car to find this tucked under my wiper blade:

Personally, if there was a phone number on the tract, I would have given them a call and told them I wanted a visitor.

Then when he showed up, I'd ask him question s about the size and materials of that gate on the cover, if they had any in stock, and would it fit over my garden walkway.

I fucking hate this kind of shit. Just annoyed... I don't leave atheist propaganda on people's cars, why can't Christians do the same?

Christians are trying to be nice. I know you don't believe it, but Christians are convinced that apart from Jesus, this life on Earth is not fulfilling and the "after-life" is much worse.

If a Christian doesn't try to tell you about Jesus.....those are the ones that don't care about you.

I realize that it can be annoying, but I just wanted to give you the behind the scenes perspective...perhaps it can help you view the "annoyances" as what they are intended to be...acts of kindness.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I've heard this before. I grew up in the Bible Belt. I like the quote: Religion is like a penis, it's fine if you have one, just don't go shoving it down other people's throats.

That's their problem - they have no empathy for those who don't give a shit. They just assume that because they were told that's the best way, they have to spread it, even if it's unwanted.

I appreciate it when Muslims or Christians or anyone of any religion tries to convince me or show me the way or remind me of the "truth". It shows they care, and are not leaving me out to dry.

They are wrong from my perspective, but I can see where they are coming from, and why they believe what they are doing is act of goodness.

If they believe they are enlightened, and want you to experience that, it's an act of love.

After reading a book of inner lives of animals, I think I appreciate there is more than one way to live. And for that, I don't think my path is superior to other paths, but it's one that I appreciate being upon, be it wrong in many aspects or right in many aspects.
