You are expecting the entire universe to be controllable?
This seems a little unreasonable to expect of an ape that only recently descended from the trees.

You wrote "Funny how there are certain things that are just beyond our control." i took this to imply that they were in gods control... if that is true then god is a sadistic being and I want nothing to do with him, or "Funny how there are certain things that are just beyond god's control." meaning that he is not in control and therefore not worthy of the name god.

Good for your mother and please tell her I support her and also will pray for her.
How the fuck has this cock got 13 rep points?

All I meant to imply was that you don't know what the hell is in control. It just sure ain't you.

Well, prayer is there mostly to demonstrate good-will, friend.
I'm sure that she appreciated the good-will of the minister, on the other hand, your mocking comments did probably not much to help her to keep up her morale.

So what?
The lady is 86 years old and her ONLY health issue is arthritis?? Good luck to the lady I say! There are so many "younger" Septuagenarians and Octogenarians that 'rattle when they walk' it isn't funny.
My Mother is a Septuagenarian and is on such small amounts of medication it isn't funny. Yeah, she doesn't have arthritis but she has "Small blood Vessel disease" and has constant "mini-strokes" Some days are painful and ya know what? She doesn't call a fucking priest or relative random people to 'pray for her' she just gets on with it as best she can. And she likes to call herself "Christian"
Personally I would ask said priest to STOP being a useless cunt, go get a real job and leave ya mum alone in her twilight years.

Are you implying that everything can be cured?
That seems to be what you are implying.
As we know, god certainly can't cure all ills and neither can humans.
So as usual, you have fuck all point.
