Time always changes that is the nature of time. god is nonsense, I knew that when they used to make me pray at primary school. The sooner god falls into history as another myth the better.

It would seem God is very loath to fall into history, the debate hasn't really changed as much as people think for thousands of years. Would this this quote be so out of place today yet it was written how long ago?

Wisdom 2:1-24

Really? because according to the OT you couldn't go anywhere in the middle east with tripping over a burning bush or a murdered population.

Which raises another question, why did your god see fit to only reveal himself to a tribe in the desert?
Why did he not reveal himself to people all over the planet?

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

Did you read the passage Wisdom 2:1-24 and comment on the question I posed or did you just go into default rant mode. And if you are really interested in the answers to your questions why not start 2 new threads or better still go onto a good Christian or Jewish website where there are better scholars than me to explain more fully. All I bring to this forum is a little knowledge of history, religion and people but a lifetime of personal experience and thought, some good some bad. I don't pretend to have all the answers and I try not to rant at everyone who has a position different to mine.

Wow, quite a rant for a couple of simple questions.

You ok bro?

Well now that you got that out of your system do you want to actually answer the question; after reading the passage; or don't you want an actual discussion?

As anyone well acquainted with logical reasoning knows, that's not true. The only reason this pops so often while discussing god is because theists love to move the goal-posts regarding what would prove its non-existence.

Even if such proof was impossible, which it is not, it'd still not be a matter of faith because most of the explicitly stated conceptions of god are logically absurd and impossible.

Yes, it's the usual apologist rubbish. Your point?

And my question still stands.

My point was very simple; if you read the passage you would with a few changes in words or phrasiology recognize that its basically the same debate that this forum is dealing with and as the passage is probably over 3000 years old it would suggest that athiests wishing for God to leave completely the human experience for many people may be waiting a long time. And as far as your questions go ; I gave you the answer, start some threads on this site and I will be happy to join in and stay on topic or on a Christian / Jewish site if you have the balls to do it and the intelligence to debate your point in a less comfortable place than this forum lol

Ok, if it's too hard to answer I understand.

You won't be the first apologist to fail at such a simple question so don't feel bad.

Join a theist forum? every time I have, I've been banned almost immediately just for stating I'm an atheist.

I never said too hard just that I may not give you the best answer. But I did suggest you actually start a thread dedicated to the question rather than hijacking this one and I will give it a try within the limits of my knowlegde. Have you started the thread yet?

lol. lol lol. LOL. perhaps lol. LOL, LOL, LOL.

Hey fuckhead, have you not figured out that this forum is not character limited? Wasup wit yo lol?

You seem to enjoy prancing, but still have no proof for your god. Dance as you may, yet offer no proof for your god. Vomit your assertions, still no proof. Needle stich the Mona Lisa, but still....

Prove your god or shut the fuck up.
