I guess it depends on the product. Whenever I go to America, everything seems much cheaper, but perhaps those are just regular items rather than specific. One thing I know is that computer hardware is generally much cheaper over there.

I have a better question, Xbox 360 or PS3?

International distribution is wack. It has something to do with drastically different supply and demand levels all over the world.
Did you know that when the Xbox360 launched in Brazil, it sold for the equivalent of $1400USD?

When I went to the UK for ~10 days last year: I noticed an interesting rareness of fast food I definitely agree with you guys' diagnostics
$1400USD?! You sure you got that right...? Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
"rareness of fast food"!?! You're kidding! You can't get away from the shite.
I take it you haven't been to America much then fr0d0?
I agree Saerules, America is the fast food capital of the world. I think every restaurant there has a drive thru!
Not at all Adrian, although I'd love to. But then we have so much fast food trash here I'd really hte to see more. That side of America I could give a miss.
Actually... you couldn't give it a miss... 'Cause it's EVERYWHERE!

Whenever I buy robot parts from the US I am always glad that the dollar is dropping to the Euro more and more every day. A part that would have cost me 200 euros just a year ago is now 160, just because of the more favourable exchange rate.
Best regards,
