You're right God does not torture, however He does promise eternal punishment.


Well, well tell me.......when God ever say that there is eternal punishment?
I hear all the time that religions talk about eternal punishment but i never hear God say that.
I think that eternal punishment was invented by the church in the middle ages in order to keep total mental control over the masses so they could sit in the chair of power.
I suggest you to get some more information before you come down with these statements.
People who follow spirituality and not religions say that God can do almost everything except two things.
One is that it can not create another God and the second is that he can not hate anybody.
If he could hate somebody by giving him-her eternal punishment then he would have done something wrong in his creation so a creation that is not perfect denoted a non perfect God which would not make sense.
