What's the point of drawing an arbitrary age line? Is there a reason of it?
If there is... why not use that reason, and not some silly time-factor?

How would he demonstrate scholarship? Sounds like he'd show that he's a 'qualified scholar'... but we all know that's pointless: most of those things are quite stupid

Ok whatever, I propose the exact same system of Islam minus the fact that an adult can marry a 9 year old girl, that's my system, go ahead prove me wrong.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

In your OP you said you could prove Islam is the best system when it comes to marriage.
So where is your proof?
(I hope it"s better than your lame evidence for god)

There shouldn't be a maximum or minimum age difference to marriage (my husband is 21 years my senior), but both parties should be a minimum age (typically the age of majority, here in the US that's 18 most places) before entering into the marriage. And they should enter the marriage of their own free will, not from societal pressure. You happy?

You seem somewhat hyper-sensitive on the topic? Too many 'honor killings' even for you?
