I don't understand what your issue is, only that you clearly don't understand a damn thing Ryan wrote to begin with. Why not just state your contention plainly?

Consider a number of alternatives: one is that you're simply not expressing yourself well enough. Another is that you're misunderstanding Ryan's original post. A third is that you see something idiotic there when really it's a fairly important point. If you'd actually present a case instead of sneering like an arrogant so and so, I might be able to divine which it is, and present a counterargument. But if you continue with these one sentence scoffing dismissals, nobody can tell. You aren't engaging in anything, you're just asserting that something's dumb because you say it is.

I think that's more fr0d0 than this topic in particular. He tends to answer things that way regardless of the issue.

I thought I'd explained the problem thoroughly, enough to suck all of the humour out of it now.

As a rule, I don't usually like explaining the obvious. if you can't get the utter basics then trying to explain that to get to the more complex stuff is futile. Despite this I will usually try to oblige if pushed. Can't I just have some peace in this thread? I can leave the face palming out of the atheists hall of shame thread.
