Why don't you go back to just willfully misinterpreting that fish comment from a while back? I know how much that must soothe you...
Dude, is a zygote an individual human lifeform or not?

I explained this to you months ago, so you're either too stupid to retain information, or a liar.
Which is it, catfish? Asshole, or imbecile?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

That one's already been thoroughly defeated here. No need for more threads. They should be banned, together with mentioning it in your sig

She's talking about Christian portrayals in the media, I think. ![Tongue Tongue](https://atheistforums.org/images/smilies/tongue.gif) We were having another conversation as she was looking up them videos, but I believe that's what she was getting at.

Fr0d0, did you abandon our conversation?

I'm sorry no more I didn't realize I hadn't answered you

The part I bolded is what I'm getting at. Why did we have to make the choices if god already knows the outcome regardless of whether we actually make those decisions or not?
Think about it from a pre-universe perspective as god is planning his creation. He decides he wants to create intelligent organisms that choose whether or not to spend eternity in his presence. But he already knows how it's going to play out, and who will choose him and who won't.
If life is a test, and god already knows how we will do on that test, what is the purpose of letting life play out.
Let me try another angle. God doesn't know the choice you make until you make it. Being god, timelessness one of his l33t skilz, no sooner has this infinitely complex soup flashed into existence from the snap of his fingers, than he can then flip this time span on its end and find us all hugging him together singing cumbiya.
Our purpose is this. This is his purpose for us. Minus us, there is simply minus us: no problem to consider.

So then your god is not omniscient then?

If God is timeless, how could something not exist at one point to him and then exist later? Shouldn't he have knowledge of all things bound by time regardless?
