And the government should willingly pay for the abortion in that case.

Sorry Kitchie, I'm pro choice. You we're talking about all poor people who should be denied choice because that's "starvation and abuse".
I'm not prepared to play god like you guys.
No fr0d0
Read it again dearie "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5

It's OK Nora, fr0d0s is just trying to pick a fight again. He isn't very quick on the uptake of sarcasm. You're attacking "religion" that you somehow conflate with anti choice/ pro life. My stated position is pro choice where the choice to abort is always the choice to terminate a human being. I just think that there's never a point where you can skip that responsibility. Is that hurting you?
What intrigues me always with this discussion is that if you genuinely believe in an all powerful deity (God) then you have to conclude that God is the biggest aborter there ever was.
Of course we use a different name for it when God does it - we call it a miscarriage - but the fact remains.
I'm pro-choice. I'm also pro-birth in the sense that a woman's reproductive choices shouldn't be limited to termination or carrying a pregnancy to term. This includes, but is not limited to, refusing or demanding a c-section, refusing an episiotomy, and demanding a VBAC. These are choices that are often handed over to doctors when women are in labor, but women need to make informed decisions when it comes to their bodies, future fertility, and sexual functioning, which doesn't always happen.
