(CNN) -- A man was fatally wounded when his 4-year-old son fired a gun he found while they were visiting a residence in Prescott Valley, Arizona, officials said.

The thing that gets me about the "we need our guns to protect us from a tyrannical government" is how ridiculous it is in reality. Even if Obama was the evil, cruel dictator that conservatives claim he is and decided to take Joe Bob Sixpack's land, what's Joe Bob gonna do about it? What good is having a couple of AR-15's and a shotgun against battalions of soldiers backed up by tanks, artillery, bomber aircraft, attack helicopters, etc? Think of it even on a smaller scale: When's the last time an armed standoff with police ended with the police just giving up because the suspect was armed? Probably never once. Once they have you surrounded, you're either going to give up or die anyway. Your guns would only prolong the situation. If the military is knocking at your door, your chances are even slimmer.

The only way the "guns protect us from tyranny" works is on a very large scale, where a majority of Americans would be armed and pissed off at the government and at best would be able to put up a guerrilla resistance before being crushed. But right now it only appears to be a minority who is just pissed off because the current president is black. It's not that the "sheeple" need to "wake up," it's that they are awake and realize that the ones who are claiming the government is full of tyranny are the ones who if they themselves were able to take over and be in charge would be far worse than any imagined tyrant.

I'm guessing that if Hillary runs and wins the presidency, the butthurt we saw after the 2012 elections will be nothing compared to 2016. If they can't handle a black man in the White House for 8 years, how do you think they'll deal with a woman? Especially Hillary, of all women?

I honestly don't know. On one hand, Hillary is about as demonic to them as Obama, and she is a woman. On the other hand, you can't really go with the foreign Muslim nigger route.
