A fucking mormon would be entertaining, too. Talk about fucked up.

Well, I know quite a few Muslims Smile

But I think a Mormon would be a good addition. Never spoken to an active one before, only ex members.
Mormons are a lot like Muslims. They are taught to view their beliefs from one very specific pov and have been trained to address opposition from one specific pov. If you challenge them beyond how they have been taught they will move on. Theirs is a faith who looks for a very specific profile or person who is looking for the answers they can provide. If your not one of these people they will indeed move on.

I also to take the time to thank all of you for your interest and willingness to have these discussions. I want to also thank those who run this board the oppertunity to have a place that allows these discussions to freely take place. In addition to thanking you all I do want to also take the time to apologize if I have over stepped or you have found that I. Haven't been one of the gracious Christians who never has an ill word to say. There are certain topics that emotion tend to govern more than others, and if you were on the negative end of an emotional discussion I do want to apologize again.

I will make an effort to try and keep emotion at bay and simply address the questions being asked.

It is always funny to me to watch this absurd behavior from someone who also has a pet god claim. "My fictional super hero is real and your fictional super hero is not".

"I am not like the others", sorry, yes you are and have as much evidence for your imaginary friend as they do.

When you do this it would be like going to a si fi convention watching a Star Trek and Star Wars fan argue.

Keep it up, I love a good laugh.

Up until the point an honest answer would require admitting that your God has qualities almost any human would agree qualifies as evil. Then you back down and simply dismiss the questions as irrelevant.

Maybe you enjoy being questioned, but you certainly don't enjoy serious challenges to your dogma.

You have a point here, as I am asking you to prove the existence of your God and justify his behavior, and that is pointless conversation given your inability or unwillingness to do either.

Well that is also evolutionary, no one likes having their ego's bruised by facts, most humans would rather live a comforting lie than face reality.

I do however find value in at least those who get their claims trashed lose the fear of it. At a minimum it gets them to see is as humans, not monsters. If we pull them out of their delusion, that is a plus, but if they don't they will at least see that we are not out to get them, just their claims.

Here is psychologically why humans fall for the god delusion.

"It feels right"
"It sounds good"
"I can bastardize science to fit my superstition"
"Billions of people cant be wrong" although constantly we have proven that they can be.

And all that crap starts with the unproven naked assertion that invisible sky daddies by any name exist.

So any crap you start out with is going to produce crappy formulas and crappy conclusions. (Insert pet deity here).

Yes thank you for spelling it out.

only a complete twat would be interested in proving Gods existence.

No matter how many times this absurdity is pointed out to you you still trot it out like you were born yesterday.

Congratulations on your idiocy. Wear it with pride! Smile

As absurd as you making positive assertions based on something you admit is no more demonstrably factual than any idiot's delusions? Congratulations for demonstrating why it's a waste of time to take seriously anything you have to say.

The reason you see God's actions as evil is because you do not accept His sovereignty, until you do your post about Him will be dismissed as sightless nonsense, and this is on you.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Your argumentation is flaud. Being "sovereign" or a figure of authority does not justify that figures actions.

Other than that, your "You are with us or against us" way of arguing tells more about you than about any poster posting against you.
