Sort of. We got lucky because many of the large herbivores that happened to live where we lived were suitable for domestication. There is the llama in South America, but that's all. I can't think of a single indigenous large mammal in Africa which has been successfully domesticated. Once it was possible to move horses and cattle and the rest of our barnyard with us by ship, these animals have been raised pretty much everywhere. But Eurasians were lucky in having had them available to increase the workload an individual could contribute, in part because of the labor of animals. As Eurasians evolved cultures they were therefore able to support many more specialists, which in turn enabled the development of technologies.

It says nothing about "higher" position. What it says is the shape of Euroasia (Very long in the east - west direction) ensured there were a few very large zones of similar climate, pastoral and agriculture zones, which made it more conducive for commerce in material, ideas, technological advancements, and transmission in resistence to disease then other large land areas like Africa and America, which are long in the North-South direction but short in East-west direction, and thus segregated into numerous different comparative small, incompatible climate, pastoral and agricultural zone.
Also the geology of Euroasia supplies critical raw material for technological advancement where other places, like Australia and South America, didn't.

BTW, It is hard to argue the Europeans were more murderous than other races. When confronted with the opportunity and means to kill someone to gain one's own ends, hardly can it be argued that other race would have dived into it with any less relish and lust than Europeans.

It's only when inferior tools caused them to become more the murderee than the murderer in a contest of mutural murder, that they squeaked about how much less humane the Europeans were. If the shoe was on the other foot, Europeans would undoubtedly squeal like rats just like the others, and the others would pontificate about how not only were they superior, but they deserved to be so.

How comes countries with the lighter skin are the more civilised?

For example, Nordic and Asian are by far the most economically productive, most peaceful, most intelligent, etc. And have the lightest skin.

The darker the complexion gets, Latinos, Arabs, etc - they are doing okay, but have more violence, less economic productivity, etc.

The darkest: Africa, still rife with dictators, Tribalism, Warfare, Superstition, Barren economy.

I don't mean to be racist or anything, but I find it hard to believe that after thousands and thousands of years, if all races are completely genetically equal, that you would think it would of equalised by now...

For example, at the time of the Romans or ancient Greeks, anyone who was "not them" was considered to be barbarian and uncivilized. For example, it really makes sense to consider a tribe of gauls who dispense justice to criminals by stuffing them in wicker mans, and setting them alight as "uncivilized" despite them being of *light skin*, yet at the same time, considering the Nubians and Egyptians, people of considerably darker skin colour, as being quite civilized for their time.
