My assumption isn't unfounded. It is logically based.

If your reasoning in regards to being a theist was in any way logical, everyone in the world would believe in god without question. The fact that there still remains doubt as to the existence of any deity only further proves that there is no true logic behind your assumption. That is why it is called an assumption. I have noticed that you used if many times when referring to whether god exists, and that means you are not entirely certain yourself that he does exist. The fact that you even have an assumption of his existence rather than pure conviction further proves that you are not entirely certain of god's existence. One might logically deduce that you are more of an agnostic than a theist.

What your position boils down to is that you can't find meaning, morality, or happiness without inventing a god.

I don't agree that atheism is without meaning, is immoral or necessitates unhappiness.

I do believe that faith enhances life via those things.
