For the longest time I've had trouble trying to figure out exactly how the Benghazi attacks were a scandal. Sure, it was a bad thing that happened, and possibly mistakes were made, but it's a far cry from the "IMPEACH OBAMA!!1!" cries we've been hearing from the right. I think it's just another symptom of Republicans manufacturing scandals in order to try to discredit Obama.
Which is another reason I kind of like him, because the conservatives hate him so much. He has to get a little sympathy for that.

It didn't help that all the dry dock shipworkers in Newport News were a bunch of ex-cons that would rob us blind.

Funny thing I notice is that whenever any administration cuts back on DoD spending, the Pentagon immediately responds by not cutting the production/procurement numbers of the latest military-industrial complex-backed cash-vortex, but instead by fucking the servicewo/men over as hard as they possibly can.
And yet people keep enlisting...

See, I keep hearing "he's better than the alternatives."
Seriously, is it so much to ask for this country to elect a genuinely good leader? Like what happened to the days of Kennedy, and Roosevelt and Clinton for that matter?? That's hardly a good enough way of judging a President, and that kind of attitude is why we keep getting stuck with these lame ducks to begin with.

Creed nailed in the first few posts how I feel about Obama.
Frankly, I feel like he shit all over my beliefs.
He's not pragmatic or science based.
He's just the better turd sandwich v. the giant douches.
And I'm sick of getting shit on my plate and told it's candy.

Joining the military was the best choice I ever made. I was stuck in a tiny village with no future, no idea what I wanted to do. I signed up for six years and made an agreement with my country. They would train me to work in advanced Electronics and take me to see the world. I would follow my orders and do a job to the best of my ability.
We both fulfilled our oaths to one another. I feel like it was totally worth it. I would make the same choice again in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over again.
